Salt & black pepper – to taste.

Garlic powder – to taste.

Olive oil.

Onion – 1 small.

Carrots - 1/2 pc.

Button mushrooms (white or cremini) – 8 oz (≈ 250 g).

Garlic cloves – 2 pcs.

Lemon juice – 1 teaspoon.

Dried basil – ½ teaspoon.

Broth (beef / chicken / vegetable) – ⅓ cup (100 ml).

Heavy whipping cream (33%) – ⅓ cup (100 ml).

Parmesan cheese, finely grated – 2 tablespoons for the sauce + more for serving.
