Pizza

Pizza Dough.

250g / 8.8oz Strong Flour 0.18

7g Dried Yeast 0.07

1 tsp sugar 0.01

Pinch of salt 0.00

180ml warm water 0.00

Total 0.26

Enough for 2 10" pizza so 0.13p per pizza

Pizza Sauce

1 Tin of tomatoes 0.50

¼ tube Tom Puree 0.16

Clove of garlic 0.03

1 tsp oregano 0.04

1 tsp basil 0.04

½ tsp sugar 0.01

Salt and pepper to taste 0.02

Total 0.80

150g / 5.2oz Mozzarella 1.50

65g / 2.3oz Pepperoni 0.75

To make the dough

Put the sugar and yeast into the warm water and let it stand until it starts to froth. About 15 mins.

Put the Flour, and salt into a bowl.

Mix in the water mixture and bring the flour together into a dough.

Kneed for a full 10 minutes.

Cover and leave in a warm lace for 1 hour.

Knock back down and divide into two balls.

Cover again and allow to rest for about 15mins.

Shape into the pizza base.

To make the sauce.

Add a little oil to a pan on a low heat and add the garlic, then the herbs.

Let that cook for about 5 minutes.

Add the chopped and blended tomatoes and the sugar, salt and pepper to taste.
