Just some background for you...

I've been in love with pasta my entire life, and lucky for me growing up in an Italian family meant lots of pasta! I fell in love with cooking & creating my own recipes after taking an Italian Cooking & Language class in Florence, Italy where I studied abroad in college.

I moved to San Diego in 2012 and started making fresh pasta regularly when I met my husband, Hunter, who never had fresh pasta before! Eventually we started sharing all our pasta creations on social media, which I named after my parent’s pasta shop, Buona Pasta - founded in 1985.

I quit my corporate job a few years back after I was given the opportunity to take over 100 eggs that were going to go to waste in 2020 due to a cafe that had to close.
