I was looking for a healthy, satisfying and really tasty dessert, with very little sugar, and this one has quickly become one of my go-to recipes. It has no added sugar at all, just the natural sweetness from dried fruit, and it’s incredibly easy to make with no oven required.
It’s a great option when you’re craving something sweet without feeling guilty. It combines dried fruit, nuts and curd cheese, making it filling and high in protein. You can also customize it completely, using whatever dried fruit and nuts you already have at home.
Perfect as a dessert, a snack, or even as a sweet treat to prepare ahead and enjoy during the week.

- 40 g dried cranberries (about 1.4 oz)
- 200 g dried apricots (about 7 oz)
- 150 g prunes (about 5.3 oz)
- Cold water (to soak the dried fruit)
- 100 ml water (about 1/3 cup or 3.4 fl oz)
- 30 g instant gelatin (about 1 oz)
- Approximately 100 g mixed nuts of your choice (about 3.5 oz)
- (walnuts, almonds, cashews, hazelnuts… whatever you like)
- 400 g curd cheese or cottage-style curd (about 14 oz)
- 500 ml heavy whipping cream (about 2 cups or 16.9 fl oz)
- (in the video I said 200 by mistake, it’s actually 500)
- (or 200 ml yogurt, about 3/4 cup or 6.8 fl oz, if you prefer)
- Powdered sugar to taste (optional)
