Today we’re making Red Velvet Whoopie Pies, soft, cake-like red velvet cookies sandwiched with a fluffy cream filling. Festive, nostalgic, and perfect for holiday parties or gifting.
מצרכים
- Red velvet cake mix
- Red Velvet (or chocolate) pudding mix
- 2/3 cup water, 1/2 cup oil, 3 eggs
- Frosting (Cream cheese, buttercream, or both!)
אופן ההכנה
- In a bowl, mix together the red velvet cake mix, pudding mix, water, oil, and eggs, until a thick batter forms.
- Scoop the batter onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space between each one.
- Bake at 350°F for 11-12 minutes until the tops are set and the cookies spring back lightly when touched. Let cool completely.
- To assemble, spread or pipe frosting onto the flat side of one cookie, then sandwich with another.
