1 box or 8 ounces of instant mashed potatoes

2 cups milk

2 cups chicken broth

1/2 cup butter/margarine

1 cup sour cream

1/2 teaspoon each salt and pepper (or to taste)

1 teaspoon each garlic powder, onion powder, dried chives

Heat milk and chicken broth to boiling. in mixer on low mix potato flakes with hot liquid. add in remaining ingredients and mix until incorporated. If desired mix on a higher speed to incorporate air and make more fluffy.
