Turns out, I was wrong.

That recipe ended up changing my life, and I probably wouldn't be here talking to all of you today if I hadn't hit "post."

To celebrate the 4-year anniversary of that video, I decided to revisit four of my most viral Dollar Tree recipes from 2022. Each of these recipes has been viewed millions of times, and together they represent the beginning of what eventually became Dollar Tree Dinners.

Back then, I was posting a new Dollar Tree recipe almost every day. I'd walk into the store with $10, grab 8 items, and challenge myself to turn them into a family dinner. Sometimes the results were just okay. Sometimes they were surprisingly good. And occasionally, they became recipes that people are still making years later.

The biggest surprise? These recipes still hold up.

Yes, Dollar Tree prices have changed since 2022, but the difference wasn't nearly as dramatic as I expected. In many cases you're getting more food and better quality ingredients than we had back then.

Maybe 2022 Rebecca knew a little more about cooking than she gave herself credit for.
