For around $10, you can make a delicious holiday meal for two with only a microwave!

I bought:

Smoked turkey legs $3.71

Turkey stuffing mix $1.19

Instant mashed potatoes $1.25

Turkey Gravy $1.00

2 Small pies $2.00

Frozen Vegetables $1.00

Start with the mashed potatoes, heat 2 cups of water in the microwave until just boiling (approximately 4 minutes) remove CAREFULLY. Pour into a heat safe bowl and add potato flakes. Stir to combine, cover, and set aside.

Next stuffing, heat 1 & 1/2 cup of water (add 2 tablespoons of oil/butter if desired) in the microwave until just boiling (approximately 4 minutes) remove CAREFULLY. Pour into a heat safe bowl and add stuffing mix. Stir gently to combine, cover, and set aside.

Microwave the frozen vegetables for 5 minutes or according to their package instructions

Add turkey legs into a container with a lid, cover in gravy, and microwave for 6 to 8 minutes flipping halfway through.

At this point, everything should be still pretty warm, so no reheating required, but if desired after plating you can microwave the individual plates for 1 to 2 minutes to rewarm everything simultaneously.

The pies can be eaten cold, or removed from their tin liner and microwaved for around 45 seconds.
