This is how to make your own chicken nuggets at home. Delicious crispy chicken nuggets, a really easy recipe that will give you Mcdonalds style chicken nuggets.

The Filling

250g / 8.8oz Chicken Breast 1.60

1 tsp Salt 0.00

1 clove Garlic 0.04

1 Small Onion 0.09

¼ tsp Pepper 0.03

2 tbsp Flour 0.02

The Batter

80g / 2.8oz Flour 0.04

40g/ 1.4oz Corn Flour 0.16

½ tsp Salt 0.00

¼ tsp Garlic Powder 0.02

¼ tsp Onion Powder 0.02

¼ tsp White Pepper 0.02

½ tsp Baking Powder 0.02

¼ tsp Bicarb 0.02

1 Egg 0.14

A little water 0.00

Roughly chop the chicken breast and put it in a food processor along with the salt, garlic, chopped onion, pepper and flour. Pulse for a short while until it has come to a thick paste.

Form into individual chicken nuggets, lay out on a tray and put in the freezer for one hour.

While the chicken is cooling, set aside 40 g of the flour.

Then in a bowl combine the rest of the flour, corn flour, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, white pepper, baking powder, bicarb and egg and beat together adding a little water at a time to make a smooth and thick batter.

Take the chicken nuggets out of the freezer, dip them in some cold water and then cover in flour.

Then dip them in the batter and deep fry over a medium heat until golden brown and crisp.
