• 6 chicken parts (3 calves + 3 thighs)
• 4 potatoes
• 2 large onions
• 1 tsp full of sweet paprika
• 3/4 teaspoon black pepper
• 1 teaspoon cumin
• 1 teaspoon salt
• A cup of boiling water (240 milliliters, one cup of hot water)
• 3 tablespoons oil

אופן ההכנה

1. Slice 2 onions into coarse rings and set aside. Slice 4 medium sized potatoes into coarse rings and set aside.
2. Heat 3 tablespoons of sunflower oil or canola. When the oil is really hot, add the half onion rings and saute for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes add 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of cumin, 1 teaspoon of sweet paprika, 3/4 teaspoon black pepper and mix well.

After 10 minutes turn over the chicken parts, close the lid and cook for another 10 minutes. After 10 minutes add a cup of boiling water, the sliced potatoes, moisten the potatoes with a sauce, close the lid and cook for an hour.
