Homemade chocolate lava cake for only 55p each. A really delicious molten chocolate cake which is really simple to make. These chocolate larva cakes are a real treat and simple to make. 75g / 2.6oz Dark Chocolate 1.08

75g / 2.6oz Butter 0.58

75g / 2.6oz Golden Caster Sugar 0.12

35g Plain Flour 0.02

3 Eggs 0.42

4 Individual cakes at 0.55 Each.

Prepare 4 individual pudding basins by greasing the inside and then putting a round of greaseproof paper in the bottom of them.

Also cut circles of greaseproof paper a little wider than the top of the basin and some silverfoil that will cover the top with enough overhand to tie with string.

Place the chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl over a pan of boiling water and melt and mix well.

Put the eggs and sugar into a bowl or jug and beat well.

Fold the chocolate and butter mix and the flour onto the egg and sugar mix.

Divide the mixture between the pudding basins, cover with the greaseproof paper and then tie the foil around the top.

Place them in a large pan and fill about halfway up the pudding basins with boiling water. Put the lid on the pan and steam for 15 mins.

Allow to cool a little and turn the puddings out.
