250g / 8.8oz Potato 0.22

65g / 2.2oz Flour 0.04

25g / 0.8oz Butter 0.19

1 tsp Black pepper 0.04

Pinch Salt 0.00

Total Cost 0.49

4 potato scones at 0.12

Boil the potatoes until soft and then mash and allow to cool.

Melt the butter and in a bowl combine the potatoes, flour, butter, pepper and salt and bring together.

Roll the mixture out to a circle about 1cm thick.

Cut into triangles and fry in a dry pan until golden brown….about 4 mins each side.
