This is a very simple lentil curry recipe which is easy to make and is both delicious and filling. The whole recipe costs only 86p and gives three servings. So a real inexpensive and delicious curry which you could batch cook.

1 tbsp Veg Oil 0.03

1 Onion 0.09

1 Garlic 0.04

1 Tsp Ginger 0.04

1tsp Cumin 0.04

1tsp Curry Powder 0.06

1tsp Turmaric 0.04

1tsp Corriander 0.04

1tsp Gram Masala 0.04

1 Veg Stock 0.12

80g / 2.8oz Red Lentils 0.32

Add the oil to the pan. Chop the onion and garlic and lightly fry.

Add all of the spices and fry for about 1 min.

Add the lentils and veg stock and cook for about 20 mins adding more water if needed.
